asked 12/06/18My homework asks me to write the point-slope form of the equation for the line that has x-intercept -3 and y-intercept -2.
My problem is i don't know how to calculate this even when a teacher tried to explain it to me.

(x/-3) + (y/-2) = 1 is the 2 intercept form
Multiply it by -6:
2x + 3y = -6
3y = -2x-6
y= (-2/3)x - 2
This is the slope-intercept form.
Pick a point on the line and then use the slope and that point to write it in the form required.
