The basic equation is y = mx + b m = slope and b = y-intercept
Since you don't have b, you can assume your y-intercept is at the point (0,0)
Your slope is 5 or 5/1 (rise/run), so go from your y-intercept of (0,0) and go up (rise) 5 and over to the right (run) 1.
Your graph should be a positive one, meaning it goes from the bottom left quadrant to the upper right quadrant.
If your equation was y=-5x, it would head in the negative or opposite direction.
