The way the equation looks is the 4x-3y-12=0. The first step is to subtract 4x and add 12 to both sides in order to isolate -3y. This is how it would look:
4x-4x-3y-12+12=-4x+12
Hence
-3y=-4x+12
Next, divide both sides of the equation by -3 in which give the slope-intercept form:
y=4/3*x-4. Therefore the slope is 4/3.
