John wants to spend $325 between 3 people including sales tax.

a) approximate the amount he'd spend on each person.

b) if he were to spend $325 equally among 3 people, determine the maximum amount, before tax that he could spend on each person and not exceed the maxium of $325, including tax.

c) john decides to get his dad a wrench set that was on sale. He called Sears and they were out of stock. He thought it'd be useless to call any different stores because they would probably be sold out as well. What type of reasoning did john used in arriving at his decision?

d) John finds the same wrenches at a different store. It contains standardized and metric size in the pack. It costs $62 dollars but it's 10%, although they sell the metric pack and standardized packs individually for $36 but each are 20%. Which would be the better option to buy without exceeding his price limit?
