a yard has a permeter of 210 feet. if four times the length of the yard equals seventeen times the width what are its dimensions

Need help with my math class  I’m struggling and the teacher is not much help and it’s math 108 so there is lots of work along with it

length of yard = l

width of yard = w

 

4l = 17 w

 

l = (17/4) w

 

2(l+w) = perimeter

2(17w/4 +w ) = 210

17w / 4 + w = 105

21w / 4 = 105

21w = 420

w = 20 feet

 

l = 17w / 4 = 17*20 /4 = 85 feet
