I don't understand how to solve this

 Yes that is correct, when the sum of the digits of the number is a multiple

of 9, then the original number can be divided by 9 evenly

 

EX.   1543266

 

 The total of the digits is 27.  1543266 / 9 = 171474

 

 2 digit example:  18 , 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90, 99

 

 3  digit examples less than 100:  108.  126,  135,   144,  153,  162,  171, 180, 197
