Since the clerk discounted 25%, the original price would have been 562.50/0.75

The clerk should have first applied the 15% discount, so the regular discounted price would be (562.50/0.75) * 0.85. 

Then the additional discount for cash would make it  (562.50/0.75) * 0.85 * 0.90
