An old woman buys 25 berries for 10 .How many berries should she sell for 10 such that she gains 25%?

Okay, if she bought 25 for 10.00, the she paid 10 ÷ 25 = .40/ ea.

To gain 25% she needs to sell each berry for .40 x 1.25 = .50 / ea.

So to find out how many she needs to sell for 10.00, you multiply N x .50 = 10.00

N = 20 berries
