Good question. Yes the output would be one but be careful. If the variable (n) is in the denominator then the operation would be different. For example, if the rule is 1/(2n) and the input is 2. The solution would look as follows: 1/(2x2) = 1/4.
If the n is seperation then that would mean that the n is in the numerator or the top of the fraction. For example: 1/2 n, input is 2. the solution would look as follows: 1/2 times 2. You would multiply the 1 and the second 2 and then divide by the denominator the first 2 and get 2/2. 2/2 simplyified is 1.
