Jacob is on vacation. he wants to rent a scooter, but doesn't want to spend over $50. Cost to rent a scooter is $20 deposit, and $8.00 per hour. How long can Jacob keep the scooter. I know it's 3 hrs, but not sure how to write the inequality in an Algebraic way

The inequality would be $20+$8x ≤ 50 

 

$20 deposit plus $8 per hour times the # hours so you don't go over $50 so x could be 1,2,or 3 hrs.
