Although the Celsius scale is measured from 0 to 100, with 0 being the freezing point of water and 100 being the boiling point of water (32 F and 212 F respectively), you can get negative Celsius values. 7 - 13 is minus 6 degrees Celsius. Note the 0 and 100 levels are the freezing and boiling points at 1 atm pressure.
