It resulted in many things.  You need to narrow the scope of the question.  Just to name a few results:

 

The French monarchy was overthrown (the King of France lost his head over this, LITERALLY).

The ruling aristocracy was replaced by a somewhat capitalist economic system.

Napoleon rose to power in the aftermath of the Revolution and then proceeded to conquer much of Western Europe.

 

Some good things that came out of the Revolution:

 

The Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen

A primitive democracy, with actual voting open to all citizens

 

A bad thing that came out of the Revolution:

 

After a good start, it quickly degraded into mob rule and a reign of terror.
