asked 05/17/18Find the values of x and y that maximize P, given the optimization equation P=3x+2y.
A. Graph the following inequalities on the given coordinate plane. Shade the feasible region.
y is greater than or equal to 3/2 x-3, x+y is less than or equal to 7, x is greater than or equal to 0, y is greater than or equal to 0.
B. What are the coordinates of the vertices of the feasible region?
C. Substitute the ordered pairs from all vertices of the feasible region into the optimization equation, P. At which vertex does P have its maximum value?

Hello Cas,
For this linear programming problem ( just worked on with Algebra 2 student last week ), I found vertices of :
(0,0), (2,0), (4,3), and (0,7). You need to develop or use instructions to show how these are found.
The vertex has maximum value where P is 18. You need to find this one.
Good luck, TerryV
