This isn't my normal area, but I keep up with science research, and this subject has come up repeatedly. The main cause of ocean acidification is carbon dioxide. It's building in our atmosphere and the oceans are absorbing some of it. I am oversimplifying the mechanism, which is a little more complex than that, but there you have it.
In other words, "FALSE".
