y=6x-8, Is the y intercept a possible solution? Explain.

On my math work it is asking if the u intercept is a possible solution and there is also a rectangle that on the bottom it has x +3 and on the right it has 2x-7. Please help.

Ummmm, if it has a y-intercept, the y-intercept is a solution, but to check....

 

-8 = 6(0) - 8

-8 = -8

0 = 0
