A rectangle has a area of 30 square feet and a perimeter of 34 m what are the dimensions of the rectangle?explain

This is a simple question that I don’t know so can u plz just tell me the answer really quickly when you get a chance

lw = 30 ------> l = 30/w

2(l + w) = 34 ------> l + w = 17 ------> l = 17 - w

 

30/w = 17 - w

30 = 17w - w²

w² - 17w + 30 = 0

(w - 15)(w - 2) = 0

 

w - 2 = 0

w = 2

 

w - 15 = 0

w = 15

 

The rectangle is 15 x 2.

 

I don't know how to lable this because you have square feet and meters. If it really is both, this is wrong.
