You probably meant to say "The product of two consecutive odd integers is 35."  You can guess this one:

 

5 and 7

-5 and -7

 

Or you can solve systematically by setting

 

n(n + 2) = 35

 

and solving for n, keeping both solutions coming out of the resulting quadratic equation.  By the way, this question looks very familiar.  I am sure it was posted and answered a short time ago.
