4/5 mile in 45 minutes means 45 mile per ¾ hour.
4/5 divided by 3/4 is done by MULTIPLYING 4/5 BY 4/3; the result is 16/15 miles per hour.

The trick with unit conversions is to make sure the units work correctly:
4/5 = .8
.8 miles/45 min * 60 min/hr => 48/45 mph = 16/15 mph
Another way to see it is:
4/5 mile/3/4 hr = 4/5*4/3 mph = 16/15 mph = 1 1/15 mph
