Approach it just like any other algebra problem.
1. To get rid of that horrendous fraction, multiply both sides by the denominator. You should now have:
0.1*[1+(1-w2*0.1*0.01/w*10*0.01)] = 1
2. Divide both sides by 0.1. This gives you:
1+(1-w2*0.1*0.01/w*10*0.01) = 10
3. Subtract 1 from each side.
1-w2*0.1*0.01/w*10*0.01 = 9
4. Rearrange your terms so that the Ws are together; this will make it easier to look at, if anything.
1 - w2 * 0.1/w * 0.1 * 10 *0.1 = 9
5. Since you have w2*0.1/w, the w in the denominator cancels and you are left with just the numerator of that fraction, 0.1, and w2 becomes w.
1 - w * 0.1 * 0.1 * 10 *0.1 = 9
6. Since order of operations says that multiplication goes before subtraction, now multiply out all those numbers.
1 - w * 0.01 = 9
7. Subtract 1 from each side.
- 0.01w = 8
8. Divide by -0.01
w = 900
w = 900
Voila.
