I don't see the graph. However, similar means that the two triangles have corresponding angles and sides. They do not have to be equal (congruent) in size. For example,

Suppose this example shows two similar triangles. Their sides correspond in that there is a relationship. The larger triangle is 5 times bigger than the smaller one. For example, 5 (4)= 20 base is corresponding to base.
5(2)=10 Same side on one triangle is corresponding to same side on the other triangle. Corresponding angles on the same side of each triangle are equal. I hope this example helps. Susan C.
