Hello, James,

     If you do have a triangle, then all triangles that have the three angles adding up to 180 degrees.  You know two of the degrees already.  Here are the procedures:

1) Draw a triangle with its angle degrees.

 

2)  Find the sum of the two angles that you know.   73 +40=_______  

 

3)  Subtract that sum from 180 degrees, and you have your missing angle.
