Ann drove 804 miles in 12 hours. At the same rate, how long would it take her to drive 536 miles?

i don't know how to solve this so i need help to understand and know the answer for a math problem.

It would help if I knew what you were studying.  But I'll assume you know proportions  and how to solve them.  This can be set as a proportion:  804/12 = 536/x

Cross multiply and get 

894 x = 12 (536)
