You can easily set this up as a proportional problem: 

Pages read  =  Pages read 
------------      ------------
Minutes           Minutes 


Please notice you need to ensure your numerator and denominators are both the same. Also notice, you are given three pieces of information which will fill the above proportion. 


10 pages read    =    50 pages read 
----------------          -----------------
2 Minutes spent         x minutes spent  


Therefore: 

10     =       50 
---              ---
2                 x   


The above is your proportional equation. Now, all you need to do is to cross-multiply your numerator from the left with the denominator from the right and the denominator from the left with the numerator on the right. 

Therefore: 

10x = 100 

Solve for x by dividing both sides of your equation by 10. 

x = 10 


Now notice Jordan, you can always reason your way through problems like these but if you take the time to create a proportion and follow the laws of math you cannot go wrong.
