Can't answer this question without more information. Bauxite is a mixture of aluminum compounds, mainly Al(OH)3, but there are others. So, to know how much bauxite to use to generate 1.00 g of Al, more information about composition, percent yield, etc will be needed. If the bauxite were to be pure Al(OH)3, then 1 mole would generate 1 mole of Al and one mole of Al is 23 g. So, you'd need 1/23 of a mole, and since Al(OH)3 has a molar mass of 78 g/mole, you'd need
1/23 x 78 = 3.39 g
