The denominator of a fraction is three more than the numerator. If five is subtracted from both the numerator and the denominator, the resulting fraction is 1/2. Find the original fraction

Original fraction: n / (n + 3)

Altered fraction (n - 5) / ((n + 3 ) - 5)

Restriction: (n - 5) / ((n + 3 ) - 5) = 1/2
