On a question like this you want to put the equation into the slope-intercept form y = mx + b so that you can find the value of the slope and y intercept directly.
When I do that here I get
-2x + 4y = 8
4y = 2x + 8
y = 0.5x + 2
what that means is that the slope here is 0.5 and the y-intercept is 2
