The question is tricky!
The answer is 40, since the Diameter of the carousel is 80, assuming seats are located at the circumference of the carousel, the distance of each seat from the center is the radius of the carousel (80/2=40). Keep in mind that the angular/circular movement of the carousel will not change the position of the seat from the center.
However if the question wants the displacement of her seat after 225 degrees then it should be solve by finding the length of the arc she passed!

s = rθ = (40 ft)(225°)(π/180°) ≅ 157.1 ft
