Solve 3+3e^3-x/6 +5=11

Please show steps as I do not have a proper calculator. If the answer is not an integer, enter it as a decimal to the nearest hundredth, if needed.

3 + 3e^3-x/6 + 5 = 11

e^3-x/6 = (11 - 8) / 3 = 1       subtract the 3 and 5 and then divide by 3

 

3 - x/6 = ln(1) = 0               take ln of both sides.   ln (1) = 0 because e⁰ = 1

 

-x/6 = -3

 

x = 18
