solve X, x^-2=9

it was originaly a logatrithmic function but i just dont remember how to solve it with that negative exponent

Negative exponents mean you must take reciprocals: x^-a = 1/x^a

This is a good example here:

x^-2= 9

1/x² = 9

x² = 1/9

x = ±√(1/9) = ±1/3
