A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7}

B = {2, 4, 6, 8}
C = {7, 8, 9, 10}

 

a)  AUB   This is the list of all elements that are in either set

     AUB = {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8}

 

b)  A∩B    This is the set of all elements that are in BOTH sets

     A∩B = {2,4,6}
