Your line is given by the inequality 5x + 2y ≤ 20
where x= # books, y = #magazines. Also, we are
only dealing with quadrant 1 since x and y will not
be negative. ... x≥0, y≥0 ... x,y are counting numbers including zero.
Let's graph the line 5x + 2y = 20
x | y
----|-----
0 | 10
4 | 0
Plot the point (0, 10) and (4, 0)
Draw a line connecting the two points.
Everything inside quadrant 1 under the line is included in the inequality.
