How would you make an equation for the word problem below? What is the answer?

A recipe of 35 ounces contains 4% salt. How much water needs to be added to make a 2.7% salt mix?

0.04*35 = 0.027 * (x+35)

1.4 = 0.027x + 0.945

0.455 = 0.027x

x = 16.851851851851.....

In the new mixture, 1.4 ounces are salt out of (35+16.851851851851....)

which is 1.4 / 51.851851851851..... = 0.027 = 2.7%

x = 16.851851851851.....
