Bryn is riding his bicycle at a constant speed from school to the library. His distance from the library in kilometers x hours after leaving school can be modeled by the equation y=20-12x. What do x, y, 20, and 12 each represent in the equation? Be sure to specify units.

I think that the problem enunciate has some errors, the distance is not in Kilometers an hour but in kilometers at a certain time 

so, y is the distance in Kilometers at any time that he has been biking being this time less than 20/12 hours=1(2/3) of hour.

20 is the initial distance in Kilometers at time zero.

12 is the average speed in Kilometers per hour at which  he is running

x is the time that will go from zero to 1(2/3) of hour.
