Given two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) the slope is (change in y)/(change in x)
m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
(4, 7), (6, 10)
m = (10-7)/(6-4) = 3/2
It doesn't matter which you call point 1 and which point 2 so long as
you are consistent when you set up the fraction.
You get the same from (7-10)/(4-6) = -3/(-2) = 3/2
