If a dish of ice cream holds 1/4lb, how many dishes can you get from 4 1/2lb cartoons?

4 1/2 lb cartoon = 9/2 lb

 

dish of ice cream hold  1/4 lb

 

so  9/2 ÷ 1/4

  = 9/2 * 4/1

=18 dishes
