Plug the values in each ordered pair into the equation and see. I'll do the first one:
x+2 = -3y - 2
Plug in (-7,1)
(-7) + 2 = -3(1) - 2
-5 = -5
Yep, (-7, 1) is a solution. If the two sides of the equation are NOT equal, such as -2 = 3, then the ordered pair is not a solution.
Can you do the last two?
