6 million minutes / 60 min = 100,000 hours

 

100,000 hours / 24 hours = 4166 days 16 hours

 

4166 days = 11 years

 

So he woke up in 2001.

 

The leap years in between 1990 and 2001 are 1992, 1996 and 2000,

 so that is 3 extra days.

 

11 x 365 + 3 = 4018

 

4166 - 4018 = 148

 

Jan has 31 days, Feb has 28 days in 2001, March has 31 , April has 30 days , May has 31 days

which is 151 days.

 

Therefore,

   May 30, 2001 at 12 noon

The rule is the year is a leap year IF the year is divisible by 4.
But if the year is divisible by 100, then it is NOT a leap year
unless it is divisible by 1000.
So centennial years are not
leap years but millenium years are
