I am somewhat confused by the title "Metric System," since feet, seconds, miles, and hours are not part of the metric system.

(29,000 feet/1 second)(60 seconds/1 minute)(60 minutes)/1 hour)(1 mile/5280 feet) = 19,772.73 miles/hour

1 ft = 0.3048 m

1 hour = 3600 sec
