You need to use the Distance Formula.
It's the square root of THE SUM OF THE SQUARES OF THE DIFFERENCES IN X AND Y.
The "x difference is 6"; the y difference is 8 (or -8, if you wish) so the sum of 36 + 64 gives you 100, and therefore the answer is √100 = 10.
