How do you do 1 inch to 12 feet as a scale with 60 in2 to 720ft2

The question is on a scale map of 1 inch to 12 feet. the area of a restaurant is 60in2. Han says that the actual area of the restaurant is 720ft2. Do you agree or disagree> Explain your reasoning.
 
I said yes because 12 times 60 equals 720. Also what is a linear scaling factor
