If they charge $6 per person, then if we multiply 6 times the number of people who bought tickets, we will find how much money they earned from the tickets. I will represent the number of tickets sold as "t"
Let's set "6t" equal to 135 to calculate how many tickets need to be sold to break even (the cost equals the money earned).
6t = 135
t = 22.5
It is impossible to sell half of a ticket, so if more than 22 tickets are sold, it would result in them not making a profit.
