The mean number of hours that Raphael worked over the past four weeks is 36.2536.25. If he works 3737 hours this week, what will the mean number of hours be that he will have worked over the five-week period?

Since the mean of 4 weeks is 36.25 then:

X/4 = 36.25

X = 145 total hours in 4 weeks

 

(145+37)/5 = 182/5 = 36.4 hours
