Hi Kaylee, if you use 44 cups of ingredient A and the recipe calls for 1/2 cup, you have made up 88 batches since each cup of ingredient A used makes 2 batches using 1/2 cup each.
If each batch needs 1 and 2/5 cups of ingredient B, 88 batches would need 123 and 1/5 cups of ingredient B.
