Two less than the product of 4 and a number nn is at most 0 or greater than 10.

I am not sure how to solve this problem, all of a sudden we just started this topic and I am not all caught up with these kinds of problems.

Generally speaking, a teacher lectures to the class when a new topic is introduced.
You must follow the lecture (and whatever visuals accompany it) quite carefully.
You should ask questions as needed, to clarify. Everyone in class will be appreciative.
It is to be hoped that you have a textbook. Consult it -- both its discussions and examples.
Work with a peer group at lunch or after school or at home.Time MUST be invested in your learning.
