How much more did I pay per pound and per bag?

How much more did I pay per pound if I bought 7 bags @1.75 lb per bag for $60 verses 3 bags @5.5lb per bag at $60. The 1.75 lb bag cost $7.84 and the 5.5 lb bag cost $19.99

The 7 bags at $1.75/lb-bag already has a price per pound value.

The $5.5 lb/bag is selling for $19.99, therefore it is going for $3.63/lb

x$/lb = ($19.99/bag) (1 bag/5.5 lb) = $3.63/lb

The 5.5 lb bag at $3.63/lb is more expensive than the $1.75/lb-bag.

  $3.63

- $1.75

  $1.88

Therefore the 5.5 lb/bag is $1.88/lb more expensive that the $1.75/lb-bag
