Hi Taylor, let w represent the width of the field. Then the length of the field will be 2w. Solve the following equation:
p = 2l + 2w
Where l = 2w
and
p = 96
Solve:
96 = 2 * (2w) + 2w
96 = 6w
w = 16
The field is 16 yards wide.
The field is 2 * 16, or 32 yards long.
