Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
5.8C + 9.9A = T= total revenue
A=4C
5.8C + 9.9(4C) = T
5.8C + 39.6C = T
45.4C = T
C = T/45.4 = number of child tickets
A = 4T/45.4 = number of adult ticketsC
You just need to know the total ticket sales revenue to calculate the exact number of tickets sold, or just the total number of tickets sold.
IF you knew the total ticket sales that would give you another equation: A+C = T = total tickets
then use that with A =4C to get 5C =T, C=T/5 and A = 4T/5
