how many pages and how may days

a typist figures out that is she types 2 pages above her work quota daily she will complete her work 3 days ahead of schedule, and if she makes 4 pages extra per day she will finish 5 days ahead of time. how many pages does she have to type and in how many days

For the first condition, I have two possibles:
4 pages a day for 9 days is the same as 6 pages a day for 6 days, or
6 pages a day for 12 days is the same as 8 pages a day for 9 days.
 
I have, as of yet, not found a way to satisfy the second condition.

Staring me in the face, and didn't see it.
4 pages a day for 10 days is the same as 8 pages for 5 days.
Woo woo!
The problem is that the the two do not equal the same number of pages.
The first totals 36 or 72, yet the second totals 40! 
Perhaps the typist types better than multiplies!
