Arturo is correct;  however, given the way your problem

is stated, I assume your instructor expects you to set up

your 3 odd integers as  2n+1, 2n+3, 2n+5:

 

2n+1 + 2n+3 + 2n+5 = 63

6n + 9 = 63

6n = 54

n = 9

 

1st integer = 2n+1 = 19

2nd integer = 2n+3 = 21

3rd integer = 2n+5 = 23

Consecutive odd integers are separated by 2.

 

Let n, n +2, and n + 4 be the 3 consecutive odd integers.

 

n + (n + 2) + (n + 4) = 63

 

3n + 6 = 63

 

n = (63 - 6)/3 = 19

 

The 3 integers are

 

n = 19

n + 2 = 21

n + 4 = 23
