Profit = revenue - cost
1) P(b) = 15b - 5b
where b = # bracelets bought & sold
P(b) = 15(2) - 5(2) = $20 profit
2) P(b) = 9b - 8b
P(b) = 9(3) - 8(3) = $3 profit
The above equations assume, as in the information given,
that the number of bracelets bought is the same as the
number of bracelets subsequently sold.
